GXO are looking for four Warehouse Team Leaders to join our B&Q site in Blyth – S81 8PU. You will lead a high performing team of flexible and engaged colleagues, focusing on delivering operational excellence at all times.

These are full time, permanent positions, where you’ll be working on an ‘any 5 from 7 shift’ pattern, typically Monday to Friday. The working hours will rotate weekly between 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £29,046 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of the warehouse operatives, providing effective communication, leadership, succession planning, motivation, training and development
  • Support the FLMs in achieving the warehouse/transport operational KPIs and service levels, whilst driving improvement initiatives across the site
  • Manage and own all elements of the admin, stock and systems processes, being the point of contact for issues, and finding resolutions
  • Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Experience of working within a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Be a natural leader, able to coach others to drive and implement change
  • Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation
  • Strong IT skills, including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office
