Job Title: FMCG Maintenance Engineer (Food production)
Type: Contractor / Interim
Location: Worksop
Shift: Night Shift 4 on 4 off
Payrate: £32 - £40 per hour Depending on experience
Duration: 2 - 4 months with possibility of extension
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to carry out work for our client, a leading FMCG food production company. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients production lines during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reactive and preventive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently, using your expertise to prevent future issues.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes by identifying and implementing maintenance best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, ensuring clear communication across the team and with management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong electrical background with proven experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally within an FMCG or food production environment.
- Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Competency in mechanical engineering is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with PLCs and automated systems would be advantageous.
