Location: Worksop

Are you an experienced Materials Handler looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Stores team. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

As a Materials Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores and materials handling processes. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and processing customer orders via phone and handling sales transactions.

  • Identifying and fulfilling customer requirements from stock or placing orders with suppliers.

  • Packing, labelling, and preparing products for dispatch in line with company and customer standards.

  • Producing shipping documentation in compliance with UK and export regulations.

  • Checking and receipting goods inward, maintaining inventory accuracy.

  • Picking and kitting materials for production.

  • Ensuring stock is correctly stored, labelled, and regularly counted.

  • Moving materials efficiently to support business needs.

What Were Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing stores environment.

  • Ability to work effectively within a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Self-motivated and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

  • Problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative.

  • Awareness of Health & Safety regulations in the workplace.

Desirable:

  • Experience with inventory management systems.

  • Previous experience in storage, receiving, and distribution.

  • Forklift truck, reach truck, side loader, or crane licence.
