Reporting into the Engineering Manager a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of systems.
Key Responsibilities of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:- Maintain, repair or replace mechanical equipment | machinery to a standard that will ensure maximum machine efficiency and performance.
- Attending equipment and machinery breakdowns and prioritising workload accordingly.
- Planned Preventative Maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- To undertake development work that extends effective usefulness of company equipment.
- To Identify and take appropriate remedial action to rectify equipment faults and failures.
- Ensure all necessary maintenance information is recorded using the recognised documentations.
Successful Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be:
- Apprentice trained to a Level 3 NVQ in Mechanical Discipline or equivalent.
- Well versed in working for a fast-paced manufacturing industry.
- Great problem-solving skills.
- A great communicator.
