GSL Education is seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Worksop. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience before pursuing a teaching career or for those with a passion for supporting students' learning.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Support students in completing their work and maintaining focus.
- Supervise students during lessons, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and progress.
- Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or classroom support is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students across various subjects.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to different school environments.
- A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
