Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise and cover pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Ensure all students are engaged and set high expectations to promote positive learning.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policy, creating a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Communicate with class teachers and other staff to report on student progress or pass on important messages.
  • Uphold the school's safeguarding policy - safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.
