Reed - Further Education are seeking a Digital and Library Lead to work in their state of the art digital and learning centre. To note may need to work 1 evening per week (TBC).

What’s the day-to-day responsibilities of a Digital and Library Lead?

  • Lead and manage the day to day of the learning hub
  • Deliver on inductions and information sessions to groups of learners
  • Support staff and learners with digital skills
  • Support with the new VR suite.

What are the required skills and qualifications needed for this role?

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience of working in education would be ideal
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour.
  • Experience interacting with 16–19-year-olds in education or apprentice setting.
  • Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance
