A small, two-form entry primary school in Worksop is seeking a committed Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis from 24th April 2025, covering a maternity leave for one year.
About the Role:- Teaching a Year 2 class, delivering the full KS1 curriculum
- Planning, marking, and assessment in line with national and school expectations
- Attending staff meetings, training, and school events throughout the academic year
- Collaborating with a parallel Year 2 teacher for joint planning and shared resources
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching KS1, ideally Year 2
- Strong understanding of phonics, early literacy, and numeracy development
- Commitment to engaging lessons and supporting pupil progress
- Ability to work collaboratively within a two-form entry structure
- A small, well-established primary school with a welcoming and supportive ethos
