Job Title: Gantry Crane Operator

We are looking for an experienced Gantry Crane Operator to join our team at our precast concrete facility in Worksop. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating the Gantry Crane to lift and move heavy precast concrete products around the factory and site.
- Ensuring safe and efficient movement of materials to support the production process.
- Conducting daily pre-use checks on the gantry crane and reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
- Assisting in the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring they are positioned correctly.
- Collaborating with the production and site teams to ensure smooth operations and meet production deadlines.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a Gantry Crane (experience in a precast factory or similar environment is a plus).
- Valid certification or training for operating a Gantry Crane.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in handling materials.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts or overtime if required.
