We are currently working with a market leading manufacturer who are looking for an experience Operations Shift Manager to join the team on a 12 hours shift, rotating days and nights.
The key responsibilities will include working collaboratively with departments such as people, Technical, Engineering and Procurement. Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently across the site, upholding food safety, H&S, hygiene standards to be audit ready, people development through 1 2 1 meetings and KPI implementation, driving a positive working culture and clarity on the vision of the company across the team.
To be successful in this role you will need exposure to working in a fast paced, reactive environment within the food industry, 5-10+ years at middle management level, a good understanding of CI & Lean manufacturing from a hands on project perspective and methodologies. Someone who likes to spend time on the shop floor, leading from the front and by example, a strong image of what good people and process development looks like.
