The Role:

GSL Education's South Yorkshire branch is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Female PE Teacher to join a supportive Secondary School in Worksop. As a key team member, you will play a vital role in nurturing young talent and instilling a passion for sports and physical activity. As a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, you will inspire students to enhance their skills, promote teamwork, and boost overall fitness while delivering a dynamic and engaging curriculum that transforms the way they view physical education!

The successful candidate will:

  • Create and teach fun PE lessons that follow the national curriculum.
  • Adjust the lessons to fit the needs of students in different Key Stages.
  • Give one-on-one and small group support to help all students do their best.
  • Work together with other teachers to improve the PE program.
  • Keep track of how students are doing and give feedback to help them improve.

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent, such as PGCE, ECT or degree in Physical Education or Sports-related field.
  • Strong sports experience, either through coaching or competitive sports involvement.
  • Solid understanding of the PE curriculum with experience across various Key Stages.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for physical education and a dedication to promoting an active, healthy lifestyle.
  • Currently residing in the UK.
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service.
