Mathematics Teacher
Location: Worksop
Salary: £140 – £190 per day
Start Date: ASAP/February 2025
GSL Education are seeking to employ a talented and qualified Maths Teacher for client school placements in Worksop. This is an exciting position which requires a hardworking, conscientious, and experienced individual with a strong track record of raising attainment.
As an ideal candidate, your job responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level Maths.
- Assist in developing an engaging and innovative Maths curriculum.
- Engage and inspire young pupils using a variety of learning tools and online resources.
- Adhere to the school's ethos and behaviour management policy by promoting positive conduct throughout the school.
- Encourage students to develop independent learning skills.
- Participate in staff training days, meetings, and parents’ evenings as required.
Essential Requirements:
- Hold PGCE in Mathematics with Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Provide two professional references from the last two years that reflect your teaching experience.
- Be a dedicated educator with an understanding of how special educational needs influence teaching and learning methods for young people.
- Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one immediately. DBS sponsorship is available on a conditional basis.
