GSL Education South Yorkshire are seeking an exceptional and qualified Teacher of Science to join one of our prestigious client schools in Worksop specialising in secondary, mixed education to start immediately. This is a top-priority vacancy, and we welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECT), including those who have recently completed their training placements.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Science education and the ability to inspire and engage students aged 11 to 16 across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Have recent teaching experience within the last two years, including training placements.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of raising and maintaining attainment levels.
  • Be a dynamic and enthusiastic educator who leads by example.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one immediately. DBS sponsorship is available on conditional basis.
