Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can positively impact students’ learning and development? GSL Education is seeking Secondary Teaching Assistants to join schools in Worksop. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners, help them build confidence, and gain valuable school-based experience.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to ensure students remain engaged and on track.

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and tailored lessons.

• Support students with SEN, behavioural challenges, or additional learning needs.

• Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

• Encourage student participation, independence, and confidence.

• Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and school activities.

• Experience working with secondary school-aged students (in schools, tutoring, or youth work).

• Understanding of SEN, Autism, ADHD, and behavioural needs (desirable).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
