As a Cover Supervisor in our secondary school in Worksop, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth running of the school day. You'll oversee classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with their work. This position is perfect for someone who is confident, adaptable, and passionate about education.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant experience working with children or young people (school setting preferred).
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
• A genuine passion for working with young people and education.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supervising classes during teacher absences.
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans.
• Maintaining a focused and productive learning environment.
• Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.
• Building positive relationships with students.
• Encouraging students to meet their learning objectives.
• Covering a range of subjects across the curriculum.
• Supporting extracurricular activities or school events when required.
• Attending staff meetings and training sessions.
• Acting as a role model for students, promoting respect and discipline.
