Milk Education are working in partnership with an SEMH school in the Blyth area who are looking to appoint and full time Behaviour Support Assistant, with a Sports Coaching Background. Your role as a Behaviour Support Assistant will involve working as a Classroom Assistant and working 1:1 with students. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coach and Behaviour Specialist to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports coaching and educating individuals of all ages in various sporting disciplines.
Your Duties as a Behaviour Support Assistant:
- Plan and deliver engaging mentoring sessions- Provide constructive feedback to improve performance and technique- Develop tailored training programmes to meet the needs of participants- Monitor and evaluate the progress of participants- Organise and supervise sports events, matches, or tournaments- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during coaching sessions
Your Experience as a Behaviour Support Assistant:
- Proven experience in sports coaching, with a focus on delivering high-quality coaching sessions- Recognised qualification in sports coaching or relevant field- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and motivate participants- Excellent organisational skills to plan and coordinate coaching activities- Ability to adapt coaching techniques to suit different age groups and skill levels
