The position offers rotating shifts from 06:00 am to 14:00 pm and 14:00 pm to 22:00 pm, with a basic rate of £11.92 per hour and a night shift premium of £2.18 for shifts from 20:00 pm to 22:00 pm.
There is an opportunity for temp-to-perm employment after 12 weeks due to the establishment of a new site and the client's intent to build core teams.

Job Role / Duties:

Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) on a day-to-day basis

Get involved in a wide variety of warehouse functions, such as inbound, outbound, and stock control

Lifting stock, wrapping pallets, tipping containers and hygiene duties.

Adhere to all safe systems of Work and Standard Operating Procedures

Picking and packing of leisure and garden goods for orders going to B&Q stores and customers homes

These roles also have the opportunity for temp to perm with the client after 12 weeks due to it being a new site and the client looking to build their core teams

Experience required as a Warehouse Operative:

The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Any FLT licences are desirable, but not essential as training can be provided

Be flexible and capable of working efficiently to meet the demands of the operation

A can-do attitude and willingness to learn

Shifts & Salary:

Rotating shifts | 06:00 am - 14:00 pm and 14:00 pm - 22:00 pm Monday - Friday

Basic Rate: £11.92

Additional Night shift Premium of £2.18 applies from 20:00pm - 22:00pm

Night Shifts | 22:00 - 0600 | Sunday Night to Thursday Night

Rate £14.10 (Basic £11.92 + £2.18 Night shift Premium)
