WwThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with a focus on adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
As a Coded Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, selecting appropriate materials and welding techniques, and ensuring the highest quality of workmanship. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will be working within a Precast facility.
In addition to excellent welding skills, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to ongoing training and development. You will be working in a collaborative environment where communication and teamwork are vital to success. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Select appropriate welding materials and techniques based on the job specifications and materials.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure they are in safe working condition and effectively calibrated.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve any issues and optimise production flow.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Coded Welder with appropriate certifications.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in welding operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Commitment to safety protocols and best practices in the workplace.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
