Project PlannerWorthing - 6 month FTC£40k to £45k (pro rata)Our client, a leading engineering and manufacturing business, is looking for a Project Planner to join their team on an initial 6 month FTC that could go permanent. This is an exciting opportunity to support a significant design-development and industrialisation programme.Responsibilities:

  • Plan and monitor project progress through the lifecycle
  • Assist in the detailed scheduling of equipment, materials, and labour, considering schedule needs versus resource availability
  • Use creative planning to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Identify and manage the project critical path, including risk management and the identification of problem areas
  • Analyse schedule progress and performance
  • Coordinate workstream resource usage reviews

Skills and Experience:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification and/or experience
  • Currently delivering projects in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and confident in presenting and reporting
  • Confident in leading team meetings, both in person and on-line
  • Advanced use of MS Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in automotive and/or marine engineering (Beneficial)
  • Experience in production assembly (Beneficial)
  • Experience of brown and green field projects (Beneficial)
