A multi-disciplinary architecture and design practice located in Worthing, West Sussex is now seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join their dynamic and supportive team. You will be working on hospitality projects including pubs, hotels, bars, restaurants and more alongside a diverse team of designers and architects. Our client is offering a salary of up to £40,000 DOE, early Friday finishes, and a progressive annual leave package that grows with your tenure as well as friendly and supportive working environment.

CAD Technician Position Overview
- Develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD for hospitality projects such as pubs, hotels, bars, and restaurants
- Collaborate with designers and architects to translate design concepts into technical drawings
- Revise and update technical drawings based on feedback from the design team and clients
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations in all technical drawings
- Maintain organised project files and manage version control for all CAD documentation
- Liaise with project managers and team members to meet deadlines and ensure smooth project workflow
CAD Technician Position Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience as a CAD Technician or similar
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Technical building construction knowledge
- Up to date with UK building regulations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient at producing high quality drawings for a range of applications such as feasibility studies, licensing, site surveys and planning applications, design and access statements
- Able to work effectively under time and budget constraints
- Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
CAD Technician Position Remuneration
- £30,000- - £40,000 salary (D.O.E.)
- Early Friday finish at 4pm
- Annual leave entitlement that increases with length of service
