Alecto Recruitment is currently working with our client who are an established electrical contracting specialist focusing on Cable jointing services.

Working on networks up to and including 400kv.

Due to their continued growth, they are looking to hire an experienced HV Cable Jointer in an employed position on a job and knock basis.

The Role:

• Travelling to customers sites across Kent, London, Sussex and Hampshire
• Terminate and joint on various cable types including repair of medium and high voltage cable in accordance with industry standards
• Location and identification of cable faults
• Conduct thorough inspections of cable joints

Requirements:

• Proven knowledge and experience in cable jointing and terminating
• Experienced HV Cable jointer experienced working on 11kv upwards
• Experienced in the installation, maintenance and repair of medium voltage and high voltage cable systems
• Experience on a wide range of cables would be beneficial such as PILC, XLPE, Fluid and PICA's
• Fault finding skills and experience would be beneficial

Salary:

• 45,000 - 48,679
• Overtime paid and available
• Paid 10hr days - but job and knock
