Paraplanner (IFA) - Worthing

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE + Great company benefits

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Location: Worthing (Hybrid working available after training)

Are you an experienced Level 4 Diploma qualified Paraplanner looking to join a forward-thinking and expanding wealth management organisation? This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern, professional, and supportive environment, where career progression and development are encouraged.

As a Paraplanner, you will work closely with Financial Advisers and Sales Support teams, assisting with research, preparing client recommendations, and ensuring compliance. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality financial planning while developing your expertise in a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and maintaining client files, ensuring all compliance documentation is in place.
  • Conducting research and due diligence for investment recommendations.
  • Writing detailed reports based on client requirements and financial goals.
  • Assisting advisers with technical support and financial planning strategies.
  • Reviewing and analysing market products and industry changes.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members when needed.
  • Acting as a key point of reference for financial advisers.
  • Supporting the investment committee with compliance and product reviews.

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified in Financial Planning.
  • Proven paraplanning experience, including preparing annual reviews and recommendation reports.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, investment solutions, and compliance regulations.
  • Experience using financial planning software such as Intelligent Office, CashCalc, Genovo, or FE Analytics.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage workload independently.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach with a willingness to embrace new challenges.
  • Experience in later life financial advice or planning would be advantageous but is not essential.
