About The Role:

Due to their fast-growing business, the company have a vacancy for a skilled CMM Inspector to join their team. The ideal candidate would have CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Mitutoyo experience (MEOSMOS Software), as this is an essential part of the role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform precision inspection of machined components using CMM and other measuring equipment
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications
  • Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met
  • Create programs, generate inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Ensure compliance with industry and customer requirements

Candidate Requirements:

  • CMM experience is essential - ability to program is required
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Proficiency with manual measuring equipment (micrometres, verniers, height gauges, etc.)
  • Background in engineering
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thurs, 7.30am - 4.30pm (30mins for lunch).
  • Friday 7.30am - 1.30pm.
