A Day in the Life of a CPN:

Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse and make a real difference in the lives of young people in crisis. Your core responsibilities include:

? Conducting urgent mental health assessments and risk evaluations.? Providing rapid intervention and crisis support to young people.? Collaborating with families, carers, and professionals to ensure holistic care.? Developing and implementing care and safety plans.? Liaising with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists.? Medication management and participating in duty rotas.? Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with compliance standards.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Current and valid NMC registration and PIN.

  • CAMHS Crisis experience is highly desirable.

  • Strong risk assessment and crisis intervention skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced crisis team.

  • Car driver essential.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This full-time role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, with flexible hours. The contract is 3 months ongoing, with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and service needs.
