SRG are looking for an QC analyst to join a global pharmaceutical company based in Worthing. As a QC analyst you would be responsible for carrying out physical and chemical analytical test methods on oral, stability and sterile products., using SOPs and accurately document the results as part of the QXC process to ensure products are of satisfactory quality for market release.

This role would be perfect for anyone with analytical chemistry testing experience, either from industry or an academic lab, whether you are coming from a QC lab, or looking for your first role out of university we would like to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • To test routine production and stability samples supplied from the site value streams and meet testing lead-time targets.
  • Calibrate and maintain analytical equipment.
  • Carry out qualitative and quantitative analysis of antibiotic powders and solid dose forms using a wide range of analytical techniques (eg: HPLC, Karl Fischer, dissolutions ect)
  • To carry our OOS investigations and discuss outcomes with other team members.
  • Perform validation of equipment and methods as required.
  • To adhere to and help maintain the highest levels of GLP within the section and ensure training records are kept up to date.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree or HNC in chemistry or related discipline
  • Hands on experience with HPLC, UV-Vis or other analytical testing methods.
  • Experience working to GMP standards would be an advantage.
  • Experience with following SOPs would be an advantage.
