- Warmly welcoming participants, verifying their details, and providing clear explanations of the Phlebotomy procedure. Conducting measurements such as height, weight, and waist circumference.
- Managing clerical responsibilities including coordinating appointment bookings for our phlebotomy service and ensuring adequate stock levels of essential materials for seamless service delivery.
- Taking and maintaining venous blood samples from participants
- In addition to phlebotomy services, you will support on the healthcare counter, providing valuable support to patients and customers. This includes offering informed advice on healthcare products and services, empowering our customers and patients to make well-informed healthcare decisions.
- You will also have the opportunity to complete an NVQ2 Healthcare training programme
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist (12 months practical)
- Ability to work calmly under pressure within a busy team, as well as independently.
- Empathetic, approachable, and able to interact sensitively.
- Digitally savvy and comfortable embracing technology.
- Passionate about healthcare and customer care.
- Prepared to learn and complete a Healthcare Training Programme at NVQ2 or equivalent.
