Futures Recruitment Services are working in collaboration and a leading provider in the education and employability sector, dedicated to fostering partnerships that enhance the student experience.

We are currently seeking an Employability Risk Assessment Officer to join our team based in Worthing. This contract position runs until January 2025 and offers an immediate start, with a salary range of £24,000-£26,000 for a 37-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct health and safety risk assessments at employers’ premises for work experiences and industry placements.

- Ensure timely visits and assessments of all premises/employers in alignment with business needs and regulatory standards.

- Serve as the primary contact for the college in the local market to coordinate health and safety assessments for all placements.

- Provide support and guidance to employers on health and safety standards to facilitate successful placements.

- Compile and present records, data feedback, and reports from employer visits as required for management oversight.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in risk assessment and health and safety practices, particularly in an educational or employability context.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship building with employers and internal teams.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assessments and adhere to deadlines.

- Proficient in report writing and data analysis related to health and safety assessments.

- A valid health and safety qualification, such as NEBOSH, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
