We are currently working with a fantastic school who are an 11-18 local authority, mixed comprehensive with outstanding facilities and a successful sixth form. They are excited to offer an opportunity for an ICT/Computing Teacher to join their dedicated team. This role is ideal for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a more experienced educator looking to contribute to a dynamic department.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and informative ICT/Computing lessons across various key stages, with the potential to teach up to KS5.
  • Collaborate with a team of 12 staff in a department equipped with 10 modern laboratories.
  • Participate in the continuous development and improvement of detailed, well-resourced schemes of work and structured lessons.
  • Share ideas and work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and learning outcomes.
  • Build strong, effective relationships with students and staff to foster a cohesive, inclusive, and positive school environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science .
  • Experience in teaching ICT/Computing at different key stages; ability to teach KS5 is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong commitment to professional development and willingness to engage in collaborative planning and sharing best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships within the school community.
  • A proactive approach to creating and maintaining a positive learning environment.
