Are you an experiencedKS1Teacher? Do you have an inspiring talent for planning and delivering effective lessons?
Ideally the role witll be three days per week, (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays - a degree of flexibility can be offered!
Master Class Sussex have been working closely with a wonderful Primary School in the Worthing area who require a Year 2 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.
The position is to cover a maternty leave which has began earlier than expected. The end date is likely to be July 2025Initially, however there is a strong possibility that the role could become permanent for a successful candidate if desired.
Who you are:
- An effective and dynamic practitioner
- Experieced teaching KS1
- Keen to embrace additional CPD
- Hold QTS
- Are positive, upbeat and have a good sense of humour
- Willing to fully embrace school life and support the schools ethos and values.
The head would like to meet a candidate who has the empathy and compassion for nurting the children in their return to school. You will need to have strengths in LIteracy and Maths to play a part in raising the standards within the year group. The head is looking for the right person and therefore would like to leave the pay scale open to find their ideal new member of the team!
Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all of our candidates.
Must have:
- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
