Job Description:
They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PrimaryTeaching Assistant to support their teaching staff and enhance the learning experience of the students. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to assist in classroom activities, provide individual support to students, and help create a positive and effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons and classroom management.
- Support students with their learning activities, ensuring they understand and complete tasks.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional help.
- Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and orderly classroom environment.
- Support the social and emotional development of students.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or school administration.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with primaryschool-aged children (preferred).
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school and students.
- Basic knowledge of educational practices and classroom management techniques.
- A relevant qualification or training in education (desirable).
- Must be able to pass a background check.
