The Role:

As aTeaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to support students with the diverse and exciting curriculum.Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one support to students, assisting them with their learning and personal development.
  • Being as creaive as possible!
  • Supporting students with activities.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitoring and recording student progress, and providing feedback to the teaching team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children is highly desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse needs.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently when required.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school environment.
