Reed HR are working alongside a growing global company who are seeking an experienced HR Director to join their Global HR leadership team. As the Human Resources Director, this position will be responsible for leadership development, training and employee relations activities as well as partnering successfully with the management team on cultural alignment.

The HR Director will...

  • Lead the HR function
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of the HR cost centre budget
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making
  • Actively support the Region Europe leadership team in identifying changes to the organisational structure
  • Provide HR support on all HR related areas to managers across the company
  • Manage merges for the HR function, identifying risk areas
  • Line manager responsibility for direct reports
  • Ensure all HR activity are implemented in accordance with the organisation's HR strategy and practices and in compliance with internal procedures and statutory requirements

The successful HR Director will have...

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent, in HR or other relevant areas.
  • Up to date knowledge and experience of all core HR processes.
  • Practical European employment law knowledge.
  • Experience in working with works councils and unions.
  • Experience in working internationally in an HR capacity.
  • Experience in and ability to working in a complex matrix driven environment.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent consultation and coaching skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
  • Budget planning and management – Able to develop & manage HR budget.
  • Strong IT skills, MS Office, HR database/systems management tools.
