Legal Secretary /Executive AssistantPermanent Based just outside Angmering, West Sussex (office based) £25,000 - £35,000 per annum DOE

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has a new job opportunity for a Legal Secretary / Executive Assistant to join a leading and fast-growing law firm just outside the Angmering, West Sussex area on a permanent basis.

You will be assisting two fee earners who specialise in private family law and private crime. Candidates with experience in other areas of law and with the right skills and attention to detail will also be considered. There would also be opportunities for the role to develop to encompass some Office Managerial tasks.

Your duties will include:

  • Using digital dictation to create letters, emails, and documents
  • Electronic diary management
  • Using case management system for client files
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, and the courts
  • Accurately preparing court documents and trial bundles
  • Assisting with time recording and billing of client files

Key requirements:

  • Excellent organisational skills with a proactive approach
  • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office/Teams
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrable attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate with clients, counsel, and the courts in a professional and courteous manner
