Service Engineer

With a global presence , our client is a specialist manufacturer and distributor ofdata weigh equipment. They have been trading for over 100 years and are a top 10 company within this sector.

Due to client growth , they are looking for an additional Service Engineer in the South East.

You will ideally be an Electrical Engineer or a Mechanical Engineer with knowledge of electrical packages. Training will be given on the machinery , but as a minimum you will need to have a BTEC/ONC in electrical engineering or proven time served experience.

If you an an engineer with experience within multi head weighing, the packaging industry , food production/manufacturing, check weighing or X Ray this role would be ideal for you.

You will be expected to attend pre booked appointments to service , maintain and trouble shoot machines on customer sites as well those on their own site.

The core working hours are Monday - Friday with only pre planned weekend work ( when required) which is on a pre planned rota.

Whilst you will be covering the below the M4 corridor, the nearer you are to Chichester , the better as they have a high concentration of clients near Chichester.
