Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist with experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) services. This role involves working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting patients with complex MSK conditions to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized occupational therapy services to patients with MSK conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create tailored treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Provide education and advice to patients, families, and carers to support long-term management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to clinical audits.
Key Requirements:
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience in MSK therapy within an NHS or equivalent setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload effectively.
