We are seeking a Primary Nurture Teacher to join our outstanding team, supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 in a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school. About the Role

As a Primary Nurture Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver a tailored curriculum to meet the needs of students with complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, PMLD, and other neurodiverse conditions.
  • Create a safe, consistent, and nurturing learning environment where students feel valued and supported.
  • Develop individualised learning plans to support both academic progress and emotional development.
  • Integrate literacy into daily learning by encouraging students to express themselves through writing, storytelling, and communication.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with students, helping them develop confidence and emotional resilience.
  • Work closely with a skilled and supportive team, including therapists and support staff, to adapt strategies and approaches.
  • Encourage sensory exploration and creative expression to support engagement and learning.
  • Provide a consistent and structured routine to help students feel secure and engaged in their learning.

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience or a strong interest in working with EYFS, KS1, and KS2 students.
  • A passion for working with children with diverse and complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, and PMLD.
  • A commitment to consistency and authenticity in your teaching style.
