- Overseeing the payroll for the company to ensure that every member of staff is paid on time and accurately on a monthly basis
- Producing payroll reports and commentary for the Directors on a monthly basis
- Handling any changes linked to absences, shift patterns, changes in contracts and timesheets, working alongside the admin team to ensure these alterations are pulled through
- Maintaining HMRC records and administering the NEST pension scheme across the business
- Processing the payroll journals within the accounting systems and conducting control account reconciliations both on a monthly basis
- Ensuring payroll compliance across the business
- Supporting on annual audit requirements alongside the Head of Finance
- Acting as a key point of contact and subject matter expert for all things related to payroll, the system (Dayforce) and handling any payroll related queries
