Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Gas / Heating Engineer to join a leading and well-established client of ours and who have over 35 years' experience within the Commercial Heating, Mechanical Engineering, Ventilation and HVAC industry.
Your role will involve working as a Mobile Gas Engineer, mainly covering the West Sussex region, therefore ideally we are looking for someone living locally to areas such as Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Worthing, Billingshurst, Burgess Hill, Lewes etc.
Job Summary:
- Working as a mobile commercial gas engineer, you'll be responsible for service, repair, breakdown and commissioning of commercial heating and boiler systems.
- Work will include covering contracts within Schools, Universities, Hospitals and a host of commercial premises.
- Fully employed and paye position.
- You'll need to form part of a callout rota, which is on call 1 week in 10. (extra available if wanted) - 150 standby for being on call, plus overtime rates.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Similar experience in a Commercial Gas Service and Breakdown role is essential.
- You'll need to hold current commercial gas certificates such as; COCN1 Or CODNCO1 Changeover, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, TPCP1a etc.
- Hold Domestic Gas certificates, CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1 etc.
- OFTEC qualifications or experience is also desirable, however not essential.
- Hold UK driving licence.
