About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher to join our vibrant school community in West Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to inspiring young learners and contributing to their academic and personal development. The role is available as a full-time, permanent position, as well as ad hoc roles to suit a variety of working preferences.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality teaching and learning across KS2.
  • Planning, preparing, and evaluating lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student growth and development.
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student success.
  • Participating in school events and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within a KS2 setting is desirable.
  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to their success.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive school environment.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • GCSE's or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year working with children
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

Eligibility

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
