About the RoleThis Lettings Manager role is ideal for someone with 3+ years of residential lettings experience and a strong background in valuations, business development, and team leadership. You will be responsible for managing the lettings team, implementing strategies to grow the portfolio, and ensuring exceptional service is delivered to landlords and tenants alike.
Key Responsibilities:* Managing the lettings team and overseeing daily operations* Conducting valuations and winning new landlord instructions* Driving new business opportunities and expanding the portfolio* Supervising, mentoring, and motivating the team to hit targets* Overseeing viewings, tenancy negotiations, and deal progression* Ensuring compliance with lettings legislation and company standards* Attending management meetings and delivering performance updates
The Ideal Candidate:* Proven track record in lettings, valuations, and team management* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills* Ability to drive performance and nurture team development* Excellent communication and client relationship skills* Proficient in lettings software and CRM systems* Experience in a fast-paced environment* Local market knowledge of Worthing and surrounding areas preferred
