Grafton Banks Finance is excited to partner with a well-regarded local business seeking a part-time, temporary Finance Assistant to support their team during a busy period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with bookkeeping experience to gain hands-on exposure while making a tangible impact. The successful candidate will be based out of the office, and can commit to 3 days per week over a 2-3 month period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day finance entries using Sage
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Chase outstanding payments and manage arrears
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Finance Manager as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or finance administration
- Strong systems proficiency, with prior experience using Sage or a similar ERP finance system
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with excellent organisational skills
- Availability to work in the office 3 days per week on a part-time basis
- Immediate availability to start in early February
