Grafton Banks Finance is excited to support a growing business in Worthing, seeking a Finance Assistant for an ongoing temporary role. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position will involve a range of tasks across purchase ledger, sales ledger, and month-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume invoices in a timely manner
- Allocate payments accurately
- Raise invoices
- Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Process expenses
- Raise purchase order (PO) numbers
- Assist with ad-hoc projects, such as clearing backlogs in the purchase ledger
What We’re Looking For:
- Availability to start in early January with immediate notice
- Previous experience in an Accounts/Finance Assistant role (or similar)
- Confident Excel user, proficient in Pivot Tables, SUMIFs, and other functions
- Ability to commute to Worthing on a daily basis
