We are seeking a passionate and qualified Secondary English Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic team in a well-resourced, high-achieving school in West Sussex. Day-to-day of the role:- Teach English across Key Stage 3 and 4, adhering to the national curriculum.
- Prepare students for their GCSE exams.
- Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and participate in enrichment activities.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Engage with the wider school community and contribute to the school’s extracurricular programs.
- A relevant degree and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- QTS status and experience of teaching English in a UK secondary school.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
