We are seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join our dedicated team on a maternity cover basis for one day a week. This role is open to individuals with varying levels of experience, from NQTs to seasoned educators. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Maths learning and teaching, and join a multi-academy trust that offers support and career progression.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Mathematics lessons following the Edexcel GCSE curriculum, starting from Year 9 after a two-year mastery-based KS3.
  • Trial new ideas in the classroom to provide engaging activities and ensure all students have the opportunity to make excellent progress.
  • Collaborate with a team of 7 Mathematics teachers to share best practices and contribute to the department’s development.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to the wider school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently training for QTS.
  • Experience in teaching Mathematics is desirable but not essential.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
