Senior Residential Support Worker

Our client is looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join one of their children's homes based in Worthing. As a Senior Residential Support Worker you will:

  • Undertake a lead role in ensuring the care and welfare of each child in placement
  • Give guidance and support to all Residential Workers
  • Be responsible for the supervision of designated members of staff and to record this in the Supervision Sheet on the member of staff's file
  • Raise any concerns with the Registered Manager as appropriate
  • Plan, manage and lead shifts ensuring children are kept safe and engaged throughout the day
  • Ensure the Placement Plan for each child is followed and adhered to at all times

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce
  • At least 2 years' experience within residential childcare and working alongside young people
