In this position, you will:
  • Plan, manage, and lead shifts to ensure children are safe and engaged throughout the day.
  • Take a proactive role in safeguarding the care and welfare of each child in placement.
  • Ensure compliance with each child's Placement Plan at all times.
  • Offer guidance and support to all Residential Workers.
  • Supervise designated staff members and document this in their Supervision Sheet.
  • Address any concerns with the Registered Manager as necessary.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential childcare and working with young people.
