We are currently recruiting for support workers for a elderly residential home based in Worthing which supports residents 55+ with learning disabilities.
Your role will be to ensure the residents are able to live as independent a life as possible by assisting with their every day lives when needed.
You will need to be flexible with shifts.
Shift patterns are:
- 07:00 - 15:00
- 08:00 - 15:00
- 15:00 - 22:00
- 21:45 - 07:45
Job Requirements:
- Experience working with learning disabilities
- DBS on update service (Desirable)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Good at problem-solving and ability to make quick decisions
Key Responsibilities
- Encourage New skill development
- Attending appointments
- Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks
- Measure and record patients vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
