Learning Support Assistant

Are you motivated by supporting and helping children with additional needs?

We are looking for a commited Learning Support Assistant to work on-on-one with children that moderate learning difficulties and additional mental health needs. A dedicated school for children aged 11-19 in Worthing, who have special educational challenges, are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. They have pride in helping pupils develop the skills, understanding and confidence in order to reach their full potential, so as far as possible are able to lead full and happy lives.

You will be working in partnership with the school's teaching staff and therapists to deliver specific interventions that aim to boost students' learning, development and well-being. You will make a real difference to the lives of the children, gaining vital experience which will enable you to kick-start your future career.

This role will give you essential experience within a challenging yet rewarding setting - career progression routes include SEN Teacher, Occupational Therapist and various Psychology routes.
