The school is dedicated to creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where all students, particularly those with special educational needs, can flourish both socially and academically. To further support their Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils with special needs, the school is seeking a compassionate and committed SEN teaching assistant to join their team. This is a temporary, day-to-day position, perfect for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children.
About the Role:
The school is on the lookout for a dedicated and empathetic individual who is deeply committed to enhancing the educational experience of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The ideal candidate will possess not only the ability to connect with and understand the unique challenges faced by these students but also the skills to communicate effectively with them. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting Key Stage 1 and 2 students as they develop their academic abilities. The students you will work with may have various needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD).
