Masterclass Education have been tasked in recruiting a Science Teacher to work within SEN Secondary School in the Worthing area.
As a SEN Science Teacher, the successful candidate will have the appropriate knowledge to plan and deliver lessons to suit the individual needs of the pupils, map their progress and create targets, attend meetings and training, and to work with other members of staff in the school. You will be working with small groups of students who have different additional needs as well as support of TAs.
The school provides a safe and calming environment which allows the pupils to thrive and engage in their education. They support the students in not only their education, but in building their social awareness and giving them the skills to be independent and thrive personally.
Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all of our candidates.
The ideal candidate:
- Holds QTS (the school is happy to consider ECTs for the role)
- Are knowledgeable across the key stages
- Are positive, inspiring, and upbeat
- Are drivers or very good with public transport
